Final Reflection
The portfolio I have created shows that I have not only met the four outcome goals of this class, but have surpassed them. I have shown I am able to articulate a complex argument, strengthen this argument through the use of varying texts and make appropriate rhetorical choices which are appropriate for my audience. While not all of this was accomplished in one, sweeping step, I showed my ability to develop revision strategies to greatly improve my papers and strengthen my argument. I have shown my proficiency in each of these outcome goals and hope to carry these goals with me throughout my college career.

My attendence in class was perfect, and I often participated in class discussions. Because revising was such a large part of this class, I played a large role in peer revising. I often left length comments full of things I enjoyed about a peer's paper, as well as constructive critisism. In doing so, I was able to go back and look at my own paper's in a new light. However, the most beneficial feedback I received was from you. I not only attended the required conferences about our long papers, but I made a seperate conference to discuss some of my short papers, and make sure I was on track in my revisions. I plan on taking the improvements I made as a writer with me throughout my life, wherever it may take me. Writing is a skill one should never lose, and always work towards improvement. There's nothing greater than the ability to communicate through writing.

Featured here are all of the first drafts of the papers previously seen in my portfolio in which I made no reference to the first draft(s):
