Approx. 80% incoming freshmen in FIGs over the last 2 years create a portfolio during their first quarter. Of these, two out of three have gone on to create more portfolios.

As of March 2004, 9933 students have created 22,423 portfolios which include 92,219 pages and 128,808 artifacts.

Diverse faculty: 758 instructors have created 1661 portfolio projects for students.

44% of the portfolios are created solely by students, while 56% involve a portfolio project assigned by and instructor or advisor.
