I joined an inter mural volleyball team at the IMA. I have a game every Thursday. It is a fun time and a good way to meet new people. We have been doing pretty well considering the experience of the team. We are all new and are just out to have a good time. This is a nice way of getting away from the room when nothing else is going on.
I attended a Wynton Marsalis concert at the Paramount. This was such a blast. I had a great time listening to someone who has mastered one of the skills I am working at. He is a marvelous performer and a compassionate person. His emotion is clearly expressed through his meaningful playing.
On a beautiful Thursday night, my older brother, who lives in Seattle, picked me up to go to a two-channel (stereo for non-audiophiles) audio event at Definitive Audio. This event was open to the public but only people in the industry and customers were invited. Being a musician, this was a very enjoyable experience. Nice speakers make you feel like you are actually there and boy did these speakers do just that! I am inspired to get nice equipment once I have a sustainable income.
Going to the ave is an experience in its own. The ave (University Way) is so diverse. There is food from all over the world. For example, I tried pho. It is delicious. It is a Vietnamese food. There are beef versions and chicken versions. The chick pho tastes just like chicken noodle soup, only the noodles are slippery because they are rice noodles. In Spokane, where I went to k-12, the population is not diverse. Seattle is an eye opener and an experience for growth.
