I plan to pursue the music department and look into their jazz offerings. Taking a history of jazz class sounds fun. I also am looking to play in a jazz combo (small performance group). I miss playing my saxophone this quarter and hope I can find time to fit it into my schedule. Playing helps me clear my mind and reset my focus. It relieves stress and makes me happy.

Snowboarding is another big part of my life. I love mountain sports and snow. Ever since I was a child, my family has been on the mountain. I plan on pursuing the local mountains. I have no skied on the West side of Washington. Spokane is located around a few local choice and I have yet to check out Stevens Pass, Submit and others. I have thought about joining the snowboard team to help cajole myself to get up to the mountain more frequently. Since my brother was the president of the UW snowboard team last year, all the officers know me and are pressuring me to join.
